The stream is much high than before.
The fish are swimming closer to the edge.
Plants are almost all under water.

If the speed of the water flow is slowed then there will be more fish in the area because it is easier for the fish to swim in and fairly warmer.

To start this experiment I first chose three areas with both high and low flow speeds of water. At the first area I started with the low flow area and counted the amount of fish in the area. Then went to the other side and did the same. I repeated these steps for areas two and three.
Conclusion
I believe that more fish were in the slower moving water because they are able to swim a lot more freely. I believe that they are also in this area because since it is slower moving the water will also be warmer therefore drawing more fish towards the area. As the amount of fish is a lot higher in the low flow areas for all three areas I assume that this is because the fish like the warmer slower water.

The Hala tree takes in the carbon dioxide that the fish give off and so does the grass and the other little stream plants.
